Questions

The course in detail

Is there an online version of the course?

Yes — every in-class lesson is simultaneously broadcast on Zoom, and recordings are uploaded for anyone who needs to catch up.

Is this course for me?

If you want to understand the Quran directly in Arabic but have no Arabic background, can read Quran even with difficulty, and can commit to Sundays 8:30–11:45am plus around two hours of revision a week — yes. No Arabic background is required, and the course is open to males and females.

It's been so long since I studied anything — will I cope? Am I too old?

Alhamdulillah, we've had students from their early teens to their 80s. No one is singled out in class, assessments are minimal, and the goal is to make the journey enjoyable for everyone. You're welcome to sit in on a current class before registering — just contact us to arrange it.

What support is offered if I miss a class or struggle to keep up?

Every lesson is recorded and shared weekly with slides and homework, so you can catch up in your own time. Tutors are available during class for individual questions, private tutoring can be booked at a nominal cost, and you can reach us by WhatsApp or email between classes.

Is there a shorter course to try first?

Yes — Quranic-Arabic Essentials is a 10-week course covering the first ten weeks of the full-year Arabic Intensive: Arabic Grammar 1 (word analysis), Morphology 1 (past & present verb scales, root letters), Arabic readers, a study of three short surahs, and personal development. It runs once a year at the start of the year and is ideal for those who want to try the course before committing to the full year — if you enjoy it, you can continue straight into the Intensive.

How do I register?

Choose your course from the courses section on our homepage and complete the registration form. You'll receive a confirmation email with further details and banking information. You're also welcome to sit in on a current class first — just message our admin to arrange it.
